Literary translation Anspruch

I translate from English and French into German. So far I translated about a dozen books from English into German, mostly thrillers and science fiction novels. For “Die Abnormen”, my translation of Marcus Sakey’s bestselling novel “Brilliance”, I received the AmazonCrossing Readers’ Choice Award 2015. I also translated subtitles for roughly 30 feature feature films (by Woody Allen, John Carpenter, John Ford and many more), TV series (like “Buffy – the Vampire Slayer” and “The X Files”) and documentaries.
